Rainier National park is one of the most beautiful parks here in Washington State. There is so much to do and see here from hiking, climbing, snowshoeing and just enjoying nature. The women’s trip included a three day, two night stay in Air BnBs near the park. The hikes were beautiful and allowed a chance to see some different landscapes throughout the park.

Comet Falls was the first hike of the trip. There was some good elevation to this one, but not too far. The views at the top were worth the effort. Of course, there was a hearty lunch before and snacks and water to bring on the hike. To stand near this waterfall is something to experience.

After a much deserved break, food and relaxation, we headed up to Sunrise for another amazing hike. Mt Burroughs is a hike that takes you up close and personal to Mt Rainier. It is almost as if you could reach out and touch it. There are many options with this hike as well so if you are not feeling the elevation or length of the total hike, there are easier options to choose from and still have an amazing view and outdoor experience.
